NeXt Steps
WHAT IS IT? NeXt Steps provides a community to walk with, encourage, and inform individuals and couples in their pursuit of mid-term or long-term missionary service and those seeking to discern their call to cross-cultural ministry.
WHO’S IT FOR? RPCNA* members who have been recognized and recommended by their sessions to pursue the possibility of further cross-cultural service.
* Members of other NAPARC churches may be
considered under special circumstances
EXPECTED OUTCOMES:
Cross-cultural worker candidates equipped for service in existing and future RPGM fields and other global/cross-cultural work within the RPCNA.
A generation of RPCNA members who are passionate and well-informed about missions and God’s heart for the nations.
Members of the RPCNA who are serving as advocates, supporters, and senders of cross-cultural workers to existing and new mission fields.
Wise and experienced members able to serve on the RPGM board and in advisory roles on our various board committees.
PREREQUISITES FOR JOINING:
A member in good standing of an RPCNA* congregation
The local session recognizes and recommends the individual/couple to the NeXt Steps group with the understanding that they are exploring cross-cultural service.
They are prepared to agree to the NeXt Steps commitments and Rules of Engagement
They are 16 years of age or older.
TIME COMMITMENT: Approximately 1-2 hours of online curriculum study and assignments per week, monthly discipleship call with a classmate, plus a monthly 90-minute online community call.
COST: $150 ($25 Early Bird Discount before July 31)
