Congregational Missions Advocates
Are you one who can spread your love for God’s global kingdom work within your congregation? Maybe you already are but we don’t know it yet. Either way, we’d love to talk to you about how we can more effectively use your passion and influence within your local church. Advisory Committee Member
Our board is limited, but our capacity for others to serve with us is not. We have ample opportunities for those with particular gifts, skills, and experience to serve as advisory members on various board committees — whether you can offer legal expertise, connections to a network of Christian counselors, your fundraising prowess, or a multitude of other offerings we’d love to chat to find out how we can include you in the work that we do to support the work on the field.
Volunteer
Maybe you don’t have the time to give to serve as a committee member but you (and your family) would like to volunteer some time serving. There is much to be done! From writing and editing to offering counseling services to helping our overseas workers with taxes and navigating their health offerings to hosting dinners or itinerant speakers. Once again, there are a host of opportunities to serve!
Become a Pen Pal/Prayer Warrior
It is easy for our missionaries and others serving in our fields to become lonely and/or to feel disconnected from all that is happening in the rest of the world. Whether you write with an old fashioned paper and pen or type out emails with great regularity, this is a way that you and your family could meet some real needs. Let us know if you are interested in serving in this way and we’ll connect you with someone(s) who’d like to hear from you.

Host a Fundraiser for RP Global Missions
Whether your youth want to wash cars or mow lawns or your congregation wants to have an international dinner or bake sale, we’d love to provide you with all the ideas and tools you need to make it a success — including your own online fundraising page and/or event registration page.
Adopt an Unreached People Group
We are looking for congregations and groups who want to dig deeper as they pray for and support the work God is doing to advance his kingdom among the nations. By adopting an unreached people group you can be praying for, learning about, and even connecting with work being done among this people group. Not sure where to start? We’ve got some suggestions and tools to help you.
Host a Party/Shower for a Missionary/Overseas Worker
When one is serving abroad the don’t always get to enjoy the celebrations of various milestone events the same way as they would in their passport country. But churches and groups can celebrate with them from a distance by throwing them housewarming parties, birthday parties, baby showers and the like. Though it may be impractical to mail them in-kind gifts people can contribute items virtually by contributing money that would buy them specific items. We’ll even work with you to make a list and set up a online giving webpage that will help make this possible.
Host a Missions Conference
Whether or not we have any currently serving missionaries available, we have a slate of speakers from which we could send to do a missions conference at your church. The topics run from field testimonies to biblical missiology. If your church or group are interested in hosting a missions conference, let us know and we’ll work with you to sort out the details.
